The Elders Quorum is organizing the
Priesthood Commemoration Campout
May
13-May 14th, 2022.
This is planned for Pinal Campground near Globe, AZ
(GPS 33.287600605713706, -110.83032084688959). There is also a Tonto
National Forest webpage for this site at https://www.fs.usda.gov/ recarea/tonto/recreation/ camping-cabins/recarea/?recid= 35349&actid=29. There are 13 sites at this location and outdoor toilets. This is a first come first serve basis as well.
We
plan to have a fireside program on Friday night 5/13 starting around
8:30pm. This will recognize the restoration of the priesthood. The
Elders will provide some hot chocolate and a treat. Not sure if we will
have the ability to have a fire due to possible fire restrictions.
Elders will provide breakfast in the morning. We plan to have some fun
games and everyone is encouraged to also bring games and activities to
enjoy.
This is in commemoration of the restoration of the priesthood.
All priesthood holders are invited to join and bring any children who
would like to join in the camping and activities.

Do you ever wish you could maximize your study of Come, Follow Me?
Do you wish you could find a better way to apply the principles to your life?
Many of us have hopped on one podcast or another to deepen our understanding of
Come Follow Me and the Scriptures, and those are lovely.
But did you know that we have our own Gospel discussion leader in the Kimball East Stake?
Here are four reasons why you should join Allison Ellsworth on
Tuesday mornings from
9:30 until 10:30 at the 48th Street chapel:
One: Unlike a podcast, you get to participate with your own insights and questions.
Two: You receive the value of other’s faith promoting experiences.
Three: You don’t need to wear a dress or a suit or a mask!
Four: Who
doesn’t need another opportunity to feel the Spirit?!?!
Please join us if you can!

A big THANK YOU from the staff at Taylor Junior High. They are so grateful for the donated supplies and were amazed at your generosity. This is a great example of JustServe in action!
