Do you Enjoy Teaching Youth?
Help online seminary students deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and enjoy the blessings of service by volunteering to serve as a stake called online seminary teacher. The Southwest Online Seminary program in the North America Southwest Area needs volunteers to teach online classes for seminary youth ages 14-18. Online Seminary provides learning experiences that are Christ-centered, scripture-based, learner-focused, and Spirit-directed. You will teach from the standard works following the Come Follow Me schedule. Being a stake-called online instructor is a rewarding experience that includes connecting with learners online throughout the week in Canvas and in a weekly Zoom gathering.
Qualifications
· Hold a current temple recommend.
· Be able to serve 6-8 hours a week, including 1 hour for the weekly Zoom gathering (available daytime and/or evening)
· Have access to a computer with a webcam and stable internet service.
· Possess an outgoing, friendly, and pleasant demeanor and enjoy working with students.
· Be physically and emotionally capable of interacting with students. Be able to remain calm and communicative during stressful situations, with special consideration for instances when students may be dealing with physical, mental, or emotional challenges.
· Be able to follow direction and handle changes in policy and processes.
· Be comfortable using computers and computer applications, including email and the internet, and have a willingness to learn new computer programs and processes.
· Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
How to serve

Elder Colter ClellandElder Colter Clelland is serving in the Utah Provo Mission and if anyone is wanting to either send a letter or a package his way, he would greatly welcome one. Gift cards to restaurants are also much appreciated, as in his Mission and pretty much most of Utah no member dinner appointments are allowed at this time.
